As a Senior Accountant, you will:

Manage a portfolio of SME and personal tax clients, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of accounting and tax services.

Prepare and review statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns in compliance with UK GAAP.

Oversee bookkeeping and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Work closely with junior accountants, providing guidance and fostering a supportive team environment.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve practice efficiency and client service.
What You’ll Need to Be Considered:
To excel in this role, you should be part or fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, ATT, or similar) with proven experience of working in a UK practice accounting environment. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, and UK tax legislation, and proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and BrightPay are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are also crucial.
