As Senior Accountant, you'll be delivering the following tasks:
- Supervise day-to-day financial operations ensuring precision and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and scrutinise financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and provide strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls.
- Strategise, prepare, and review accounts for the management team.
- Forecast and manage budgets, supervise workflow, and mentor junior staff.
- Collaborate closely with senior team members to meet expectations, deadlines, and budgets.
- Champion customer service excellence and lead by example as a hands-on Senior Accountant.
Ideally, you'll bring the following:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, finalist or qualified by experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and cloud software.
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to oversee workflow.
- Team player capable of fostering the best in others.
- Confident mentor for junior team members, employing a positive and constructive approach.
