Take on a pivotal role in their Coventry office, overseeing the payroll ledger and contributing to the efficient functioning of their small accounts team. With a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £28,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including 22 days of holidays, Auto-enrolment Pension, and Westfield Health Insurance, this opportunity promises professional growth and job satisfaction. Working hours are 8.30 - 5.00 but flexibility can be offered (i.e - 8.00 - 4.00 / 9.00 - 5.30 / 9.30 - 6.00).
**Please note this will be an office-based role**
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately record and produce weekly, monthly, and salaried payroll.
- Timely reporting of pensions and meticulous record-keeping of deductions, including CSA.
- Submission and accurate record-keeping of P32/FPS/EPS.
- Generation and posting of Payroll Journals for month-end reporting.
- Precise calculation and submission of P11D/Annual leave accruals.
- Regular update of headcount.
- Monitoring the Payroll Email box, and handling queries effectively.
- Assistance with end-of-year accounts preparation.
In addition, you'll get the opportunity to:
- Reconciliation of 10 bank accounts, encompassing 4 currencies.
- Support in debtors and creditors activities as needed.
- Assist in intercompany reconciliation.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties at the request of the Group Financial Controller.

Utilising Sage systems to manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and company policies. Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in managing complex payroll processes.
- MUST HAVE Familiarity with Sage payroll systems.
- Adaptability to changing payroll ledger sizes.
- Experience in onboarding new payroll systems/acquisitions is desirable.
