The salary package ranges from £35,000 to £38,000, complemented by a 10% performance-based bonus. As the appointed Management Accountant, your role will involve:
- Reporting to the UK Finance Manager, providing support across an array of financial and accounting activities.
- Preparation of comprehensive Management Accounts, covering income statements and meticulous Balance Sheet control/reconciliation.
- Assume added responsibilities in the Finance Manager's absence.
- Assist in Group reporting into Hyperion.
- Maintain Fixed Asset records.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Manage intercompany accounts reporting.
- Support order processing.
- Oversee stock and conduct reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, including setting up bank payments for authorization.
- Monitor accounts receivable.
- Handle general ledger postings and reconciliations.
- Undertake ad-hoc administrative duties as necessary.
Your Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, previous experience in producing full sets of management accounts is a prerequisite, along with the willingness to contribute to day-to-day accounting tasks when needed. Ideally, you will hold a degree in an Accounting/Finance subject and/or be in the latter stages of an Accountancy qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA (or be qualified).
While training will be provided on our financial systems, prior experience with SAP and a strong understanding of Excel will be advantageous.
