As you report to the Financial Controller (who, incidentally, envisions you as their potential successor), you will play a pivotal role within the finance team, leveraging financial insights to shape critical decisions.
Your role includes:
- Preparing month-end and year-end financial reports.
- Cost/Sales Budgeting and forecasting
- Various aspects of stock accounting/reporting
- Delivering insightful analysis of profitability reporting, by multiple categories
- Monthly reviewing of control accounts.
- Ensuring control of promotional provisions and payments to customers
- Creating requests for Capital Expenditure.
- Addressing ad hoc reporting requests by various internal/external stakeholders
- Support the FC in various daily/weekly and ad-hoc development projects
- Liaise with the external auditors for the year-end accounts
There are a few things you'll need to have/be:
- CIMA/ACCA qualified
- Ideally previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills with a great eye for dealing with complex data.
- High proficiency in Excel, Access/databases, and Ideally Power BI.
- Superb communication skills
