As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving HR initiatives and supporting various significant projects across the HR spectrum, including restructuring, change management, and more. Key responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in HR projects, such as restructuring, change management, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and organisational development.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with best practices and legal requirements.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and performance improvement plans.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating smooth onboarding for new employees.
- Develop and implement performance management systems, provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance-related matters, and support the annual performance review process.
- Identify training needs, design and deliver training programs, and coordinate professional development initiatives for employees.
- Assist in compensation and benefits administration, including job evaluations, salary reviews, and benefits enrolment
- Ensure HR practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations, and keep up to date with changes in legislation
- Utilise HR systems and tools to track and analyse HR metrics and provide reports to management as needed.
- Drive initiatives to foster a positive work environment, enhance employee engagement, and promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
Requirements:
- Possess a recognised qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an HR management role, preferably with exposure to project management and involvement in significant HR projects.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation, HR best practices, and industry trends.
- Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with organisational goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and implement effective solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective working relationships.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic work environment.
- Uphold the highest level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, and other HR-related software.
This is a 6 to 12-month contract position with the potential for further opportunities within their organisation.
