Are you an experienced finance professional with a background in retail finance?
Our client, a rapidly growing company based in Oxfordshire, is seeking a Financial Controller who can autonomously lead and inspire a team of finance professionals while ensuring tight financial control and providing commercial insight to optimize profitability. As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading FP&A activities, multi-currency cash flow forecasting, production of consolidated monthly management accounts, monitoring and controlling working capital, overseeing reporting and regulatory compliance (UK, EU, and US), and ensuring all tax compliance such as VAT, Corporation Tax and Import/Export matters are adhered to
What's required
To be considered for this role, you must be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with significant experience leading a finance team in a fast-paced retail environment. You should also have experience working with international/global currency matters, and a strong track record in building and evolving strong processes and procedures. You'll be able to bring a strong understanding of VAT, compliance and regulation reporting as well as familiarisation with working with the EU and US markets.
