Our client is delivering impressive growth figures, as a result of which they now need to appoint a passionate, ambitious Finance Manager to support an exciting new project. In this newly created role, you will collaborate with project managers and the commercial finance teams to deliver robust financial control to ensure the successful delivery of this ambitious project.

Working with the contract Project Managers and central Commercial Accounting teams you will assume responsibility for the financial success of this exciting project. More specifically, tasks will include:
- Delivery of accurate and timely Management Accounts for this high-value contract/project
- Provision of insightful financial reporting on the ongoing performance of the project
- Take the lead on the day to day management of ongoing budgets/costs, supporting the delivery of the annual budget and 3-year plan
- Drive the financial control of the project to ensure opportunities to increase profitability are maximised
- Collaborate with Project managers and Commercial teams to accurately report on matters such as WIP, measure reserves, debts and Risks and Opportunities
- Maintain a strong focus on cash through the supervision of effective cash flow forecasting, debt collection
- Influence the decision-making process to ensure all systems and processes meet the expectations of the end client and the Group
- Monitor CAPEX expenditure, preparation of business cases for key investment decisions
What do you need to bring to the table?
You will be a Qualified Accountant with a minimum 5 years post qualification experience in Finance Management, working within the Construction/Infrastructure sector. Your ability to influence, challenge and support finance and non-finance stakeholders will be put to great use in this role. Robust knowledge of data mining tools and a naturally numerate and analytical mindset is a must. An ability to build, develop and maintain strong client relationships will be pivotal to the successful delivery of this key project.
