We are currently recruiting EXCLUSIVELY for a Finance Analyst to join our Warwick-based service provider. Independently owned and with a 40+ year history of serving their sector, they have a very strong track record in delivering excellence across all areas of their business.
Reporting to the Group FD, you will be responsible for enhancing existing financial models and identifying and implementing opportunities for automation. Collaborating closely with the Operational Directors/Managers to offer in-depth analysis and commentary on their monthly P & L’s Additionally, you will provide the commercial insight to support sales tendering processes and support in the accurate completion of budgets and forecasts.
You will also be responsible for delivering the monthly management account packs financial reporting activity and cost centre reporting. You will also have the opportunity to assist the FD on various financial and non-financial project work.
We are keen to speak with people with a solid accounting background but it’s equally essential you can demonstrate the qualities of a commercially focused accounting professional such as excellent attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and a high level of commercial acumen. A continuous improvement mindset is highly valued in this role too.
If you’re currently working towards your professional qualification there is a study package available but you are equally encouraged to apply if you have parked your studies or consider yourself more qualified by experience. The real KEY here is the demonstrable experience.
You will need to have a sound understanding of MS Excel (Min Pivots, VLOOKUP’s, sumifs), if you have advanced knowledge it would be a real bonus, especially any previous data mining experience. Previous experience working with Sage accounting systems would be equally advantageous.
