As our Interim Assistant Accountant, you'll take centre stage in upholding financial stability and seamlessly managing the accounting processes during this period of organisational transformation. If you're an AAT-qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA professional driven by a passion for finance and career growth, this temporary role is tailor-made for you.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Ensuring the sales and purchase ledgers are meticulously maintained with timely postings, invoice creation, credit notes, template setups, and account reconciliations.
- Handling BACS payments and overseeing supplier payment runs.
- Expertly completing bank reconciliations and accurately recording bank transactions on the ledgers.
- Managing petty cash, meticulously posting receipts/payments, and reconciling on a monthly basis.
- Skillfully posting journals and nominal transactions.
- Maintaining ledgers with precision, including accruals, prepayments, and monthly journals.
- Collaborating in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Assisting in balancing the sheets and reconciling control accounts.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- AAT qualification or part-qualification in ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adept at working independently and meeting deadlines.
