Accounts Assistant, Solihull
**Full or part-time considered**
£22,000 – £28,000 pa, 25 days holiday, Pension, Life Assurance, Healthcare, Hybrid options (after probation)
Were delighted to be working with a service sector client who has been successfully delivering solutions to their clients for almost half a century. Due to their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Solihull based office. This is a great opportunity to support the Accounts Manager in a variety of transactional accounting tasks.
Typically you will:
- Raise sales invoices to distribute to clients via the central email account, ensuring the correct information is inputted into the Sage Accounting system
- Producing aged debtor reports for the Directors
- Update the cashbook including reconciling against the bank statements
- Code and input Purchase invoices into Sage
- Supplier starement reconciliations
- Deal with sub-contractor matters
- Support the payroll process, processing employee expenses, absence monitoring, and other HR administrative matters
- Credit card reconciliations, Petty cash reconciliations
- Process various journals, accruals and prepayments
This is a great role if you enjoy the day to day challenges of working in a fast-paced transactional finance environment. To be considered you will have some previous experience in using Sage Accounting systems. Professional qualifications aren’t essential as our client is happy to consider applications from you if you are qualified by your experience. You’ll be working very closely with just the Accounts Manager and therefore will need to be comfortable working in a small team and at times on your initiative.
Here’s the great thing…our client is happy to consider your application if you are looking for part-time hours too, perhaps 22 – 24 would be ideal and are happy for you to do these across 4 days (who doesn’t love a 3 day weekend!).
